5 Odds Special explained

What is 5 Odds Special?

5 Odds Special is a single accumulator (also called a parlay or multiple) put together for the day. An accumulator links several selections into one bet: the odds of each pick are multiplied together, and every leg has to win for the bet to pay. This slip is built to reach roughly 5.00 in total odds, which means a winning slip pays about 5 times the stake.

It is available to VIP members. Free members can see that a slip exists, its odds and the number of legs, but not the picks.

How the slip is built

We do not simply stack the shortest prices. Every eligible pick on the day has a model chance of winning, estimated from both teams' scoring and conceding records and calibrated against tens of thousands of past matches. From those picks we search the combinations whose total odds land at the target, and choose the combination with the highest chance of winning all legs together. Only one pick per match is used, and picks with no verified team data are excluded.

Odds are the bookmaker's own odds whenever we have them. When we do not, the price is estimated from the model chance with a typical bookmaker margin and clearly marked as an estimate. Always check the real odds with your bookmaker before placing a bet: prices move, and the total will differ slightly between bookmakers.

Why a 5.00 target?

A 5.00 target needs more legs or longer prices than a 2.00 slip, so the chance of winning is lower and a losing day is the normal outcome. The reward is higher when it lands, but treat it as a small, fixed-stake entertainment bet rather than a way to recover losses. Because winning chances multiply, adding legs reduces them quickly.

How to use this slip

  • Check the odds at your bookmaker and compare them with the odds shown on the slip.
  • If one leg has already kicked off, or a price has dropped sharply, skip the slip instead of replacing legs yourself: both the odds and the chance change.
  • Use a small, fixed stake that you can afford to lose.
  • Keep a record of every slip you play, including the ones that lose.

Our track record

The record shown at the top of this page is calculated from the slips we published over the last 30 days that have finished. A slip counts as won only when every leg won. It updates automatically and includes the losing days.

Bet responsibly

No prediction is guaranteed, and a confidence score is a statistical estimate, not a promise. Only stake what you can afford to lose, set limits before you start and never chase losses. Betting is for adults only (18+, or the legal age where you live). If gambling is causing you harm, contact a local support organisation.
